Nellai Siva, born Sivanathan Shanmugavelan Ramamoorthy, was an Indian comedian and actor known for his work in Tamil cinema. Primarily recognized for his comedic roles, he made his film debut in 1985 with *Aan Paavam*. He gained popularity through appearances in films such as *Mahaprabhu*, *Vetri Kodi Kattu*, and *Kannum Kannum*. Nellai Siva was distinguished by his use of Nellai slang in his dialogue, which set him apart from other supporting actors. Over the course of his career, he appeared in more than 500 films.
