Nicole Rowley

Nicole Rowley is a visual effects producer based in Los Angeles who began her industry experience as an intern and production assistant on the 2007 film *Charlie Wilson’s War*, an entry point that led her to pursue a career managing visual‑effects processes and participating in creative decisions during film production. Over more than ten years she progressed from assistant positions to roles as production manager and ultimately producer, working directly with film studios rather than through post‑production houses. Her credits include serving as Visual Effects Production Manager on *Black Panther* (2018) and as Visual Effects Producer on *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever* (2022), *Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire* (2024) and *Supergirl* (2026). Visual effects supervisor Geoffrey Baumann described her as “an amazing partner” whose commitment was essential to the production of *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever*, and she was identified alongside Baumann as the VFX producer responsible for overseeing the visual‑effects unit on a production noted for its ghostly visuals. In 2020 Rowley was featured in a “Dynamic Women Award” profile that highlighted her dedication, hard work and advancement from production assistant to producer over more than a decade in visual effects, noting her commitment to sustainability, animal welfare, a plant‑based lifestyle, as well as her personal journey of coming out and the support she received from her community.
