Biography
Ol Parker (born 1969, London) is an English television writer and director. He married actress Thandiwe Newton in 1997; she starred in his first film, *It Was an Accident* (2000). Originally named Oliver Parker, he later changed his first name to Ol to avoid confusion with Oliver Parker, the director of the 1999 film *An Ideal Husband*.
