Biography

Patricia Lea Jenkins is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer known for her work in the film industry. She gained prominence for directing *Monster* (2003), in which she also co-wrote the screenplay. Jenkins continued to make an impact with her direction of *Wonder Woman* (2017), a superhero film that marked a significant milestone for female-led action cinema. She followed it with *Wonder Woman 1984* (2020), the sequel that expanded the character's story within the DC Extended Universe.
