Paul Livingstone

Paul Livingstone is an American sitarist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his contributions to Indian classical music. He is recognized as one of the few American disciples of the renowned sitar virtuoso Pandit Ravi Shankar. Livingstone further honed his skills under the guidance of Rajeev Taranath and Amiya Dasgupta, both esteemed members of the Senia Maihar Gharana, a prominent lineage in Indian classical music. His work reflects a deep understanding of the traditions and techniques of this musical heritage.
