Paul Nicholas is an English actor and singer who initially pursued a career in pop music before transitioning to musical theatre. In the 1970s, he began an acting career and later returned to the pop charts. He is best known for starring in the 1983 BBC sitcom *Just Good Friends*, which won a BAFTA and earned him a nomination for best comedy performance. After the series ended, Nicholas returned to musical theatre and took on a range of entertainment roles, including producing and directing.
