Paulo César Pinheiro is a Brazilian poet and composer known for his contributions to Música Popular Brasileira (MPB). He is recognized for his poetic lyricism and has written songs for many of Brazil's most renowned artists. His collaborations include João Nogueira, João de Aquino, Francis Hime, Dori Caymmi, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Ivan Lins, Edu Lobo, Mauro Duarte, Guinga, Baden Powell de Aquino, Toquinho, Eduardo Gudin, and Maria Bethânia. He is considered one of the finest lyricists in Brazilian music, and his work remains influential in the country's musical heritage.
