Biography

Peter Willem Drost is a former Dutch freestyle swimmer who competed in the 1980 and 1984 Summer Olympics. His best individual achievement came in 1984, where he placed seventh in the 4×200 m freestyle relay with a time of 7:26.72, swimming alongside his younger brother Frank, Hans Kroes, and Edsard Schlingemann. Drost is not related to Monique Drost, another retired Dutch swimmer who also competed at the 1980 Olympics.
