Biography
Phil Tippett is an American animator, visual effects supervisor, producer, and filmmaker known for his contributions to the fields of animation and visual effects. Throughout his career, he has worked with major studios such as Industrial Light & Magic and DreamWorks. In 1984, Tippett established his own company, Tippett Studio, which has been involved in numerous high-profile film projects. His work has significantly influenced the development of stop-motion and digital effects in the film industry.
