Biography
Rachel Townsend is a British journalist and news presenter who has worked with ITV regional news programmes. She began her career with ITV's Calendar in Yorkshire, but was relocated to Manchester in 2008 because of regional news cutbacks, joining Granada Reports. Originally from Liverpool, Townsend has continued to contribute to ITV news, dividing her time between Granada Reports and ITV News Calendar as of 2014.
