Rainie Yang

She began acting at the age of 14, appearing in films and commercials in Hong Kong. At 15, she auditioned for a girl band to be launched by BMG Records called "4 in Love" and was selected. From then on, she was known as "Rainie" to align with the weather-themed names of the group's members; she had previously been called Lily in the industry.

She relocated to Taiwan to pursue her acting career, living with her bandmates in a shared residence. She appeared in several dramas, beginning with the mega blockbuster *Meteor Garden*, where she played a supporting but key role as the character Xiao You, often considered the Chinese counterpart to "Yuki" from *Hana Yori Dango*.
