Raakhee Gulzar, professionally known as Raakhee, is an Indian actress who has primarily worked in Hindi and Bengali cinema. Recognized as one of the leading actresses of the 1970s and early 1980s, she is celebrated for her contributions to Indian film. Throughout her career, Raakhee received numerous accolades, including two National Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards. In 2003, she was honored with the Padma Shri, one of India's highest civilian awards, in recognition of her distinguished service in the field of arts.
