Biography
Ralph Richeson was an actor who received his major breakthrough at age 52 while working as an extra on *Deadwood* (2004). He was selected for a minor but memorable recurring guest role as Richardson, a dim-witted cook for hotel owner E.B. Farnum. This led to appearances in several films, including *Hancock* (2008) and *The Revenant* (2009), both starring Will Smith. Richeson's health declined shortly after, and he died in 2015 at the age of 63 due to multiple organ failure.
