Biography

Rashida Leah Jones is an American actress and filmmaker known for her work in television. She has portrayed notable roles such as Louisa Fenn on the Fox drama series *Boston Public* (2000–2002), Karen Filippelli on the NBC comedy *The Office*, and Ann Perkins on the NBC comedy *Parks and Recreation* (2009–2015). She also starred as the lead in the TBS comedy series *Angie Tribeca* (2016–2019). Jones has received critical acclaim, including a Grammy Award win and nominations for a Golden Globe and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In 2025, she was recognized as one of Time's 100 most influential people in the world.
