Biography

Rebecca Maria Hall is an English actress who made her onscreen debut at age 10 in the 1992 television adaptation of *The Camomile Lawn*, directed by her father, Peter Hall. She later made her professional stage debut in his 2002 production of *Mrs. Warren's Profession*, for which she received the Ian Charleson Award. Hall's film career began in 2006 with *Starter for 10*, and she gained wider recognition for her role in Christopher Nolan's thriller *The Prestige*. In 2008, she appeared in Woody Allen's *Vicky Cristina Barcelona*, earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
