Biography

Reiko Dan, born Reiko Hamada, was a Japanese actress who appeared in films from 1957 to 1974. She is known for her roles in notable works such as *Sanjuro* and *Red Beard*. After retiring in 1974, she made a brief return in the late 1980s and into the 1990s to support her son, Yuta Dan, who was also an actor. Yuta Dan was born in 1967 and died in 2006.
