Rekha, born Bhanurekha Ganesan, is an acclaimed Indian actress primarily known for her work in Hindi cinema. With a career spanning over 200 films, she has received critical acclaim for her portrayals of complex and strong female characters, drawing from both fictional and literary sources. Her achievements include a National Film Award and three Filmfare Awards, and she is recognized for her ability to reinvent herself throughout her career.
