Biography

Renato "Rene" Requiestas (January 22, 1957 – July 24, 1993) was a Filipino comedian active from the late 1980s through the early 1990s.

He frequently appeared in sidekick roles with other comedy actors, notably Joey de Leon, and was paired with Kris Aquino in romantic comedies; his appearance was marked by a gaunt, toothless look.

Requiestas died on July 24, 1993 at the age of 36.
