Biography

Richard Ayoade is a British comedian, actor, writer, director, and presenter best known for his role as Maurice Moss, a socially awkward IT technician, in the Channel 4 sitcom *The IT Crowd*, which ran from 2006 to 2013. His performance in the series earned him the 2014 BAFTA for Best Male Comedy Performance. Ayoade has also appeared in a number of other television shows and films, and has worked behind the scenes as a writer and director.
