Biography

Richard McNamara is a British musician and record producer, best known as the guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the band Embrace. He was born and raised in Bailiff Bridge, Brighouse, near Halifax, along with his older brother, Danny. Through his guitar work and vocal contributions, McNamara has played a key role in shaping Embrace's musical identity. He is also the father of singer-songwriter Ellur, continuing a family tradition in music.
