Biography

Richard Keith Berman is an American television producer and screenwriter, best known for his extensive work on the *Star Trek* franchise. He served as executive producer for several *Star Trek* series, including *The Next Generation*, *Deep Space Nine*, *Voyager*, and *Enterprise*. Berman also contributed to several *Star Trek* films and succeeded Gene Roddenberry as the head of the franchise, overseeing its direction until the cancellation of *Star Trek: Enterprise* in 2005. His work played a key role in shaping the long-running science fiction series throughout the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
