Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams is an English singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and occasional actor. He is a member of the pop group Take That, with whom he initially gained fame during the band's first run in the early to mid-1990s. Following disagreements with the management and some band members, Williams left Take That in 1995 to pursue a solo career. On 15 July 2010, it was announced that he had rejoined the group, with plans to release a new album in November 2010. Williams has sold over 55 million records worldwide, making him the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best-selling non-Latino artist in Latin America. Six of his albums rank among the top 100 best-selling albums in the UK. He has received fifteen BRIT Awards — the most by any artist — and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."
