Biography
Robert William Lamm is an American musician and founding member of the rock band Chicago. He is best known for his contributions as a songwriter, vocalist, and keyboardist, particularly on the band's debut album, *Chicago Transit Authority* (1969). Lamm penned several of the band's most successful tracks, including "Questions 67 & 68," "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?," "Beginnings," "25 or 6 to 4," "Saturday in the Park," "Dialogue," and "Harry Truman." As one of the three original members still performing with the group, Lamm remains Chicago's lead vocalist and a central creative force in the band's enduring legacy.
