Biography

Robert Alphonse Picardo is an American actor best known for his role as The Doctor in the *Star Trek: Voyager* series, a character he originated and voiced throughout the show's run. He also portrayed Richard Woolsey in the *Stargate* franchise and appeared in films such as *Innerspace* as the Cowboy. Picardo has had a diverse career, with notable roles including Coach Cutlip on *The Wonder Years* and Captain Dick Richard on the ABC series *China Beach*. He frequently collaborates with director Joe Dante and serves on the board of directors for The Planetary Society.
