Biography

Rosemary "Rosebud" Baker is an American comedian, actress, and writer known for her dark humor and satirical storytelling. Based in New York City, she began performing stand-up in 2014 at local open mics and later appeared in independent films, non-union television projects, and off-Broadway. She gained wider recognition for her recurring role on the Hulu series *Life & Beth* and her critically acclaimed performance in the 2013 film *Turnabout*. In 2021, her debut comedy special *Whiskey Fists* premiered on Comedy Central.

Baker joined the writing team for the HBO Max series *That Damn Michael Che* in 2020 and worked as a writer for *Saturday Night Live* from 2022 to 2025. Her second comedy special, *The Mother Lode*, was released on Netflix on February 18, 2025. Throughout her career, Baker has blended personal experiences with sharp wit, establishing herself as a versatile voice in comedy and entertainment.
