Biography

Ross Duffer, along with his identical twin brother Matt Duffer, is part of the Duffer Brothers, an American filmmaking duo who collaborate on all their projects. They are best known for creating, showrunning, and executive producing the Netflix supernatural science fiction horror series *Stranger Things* (2016–2025). The brothers also wrote and directed the horror film *Hidden* (2015) and served as writers and producers for the Fox science fiction series *Wayward Pines* (2015–2016). Together, they founded the production company Upside Down Pictures, which has an overall deal with Netflix.
