Biography
Steven Craig Zahler (born January 23, 1973) is an American filmmaker, novelist, and composer. After a brief stint as a cinematographer, Zahler concentrated on screenwriting before making his directorial debut with *Bone Tomahawk* (2015). He later directed *Brawl in Cell Block 99* (2017) and *Dragged Across Concrete* (2018), both of which he also wrote and composed the music for. In addition to his work in film, Zahler has authored several novels and graphic novels.
