Biography
Sally Elizabeth Phillips is an English actress, comedian, and television presenter known for her work in comedy and television. She co-created and co-wrote the sketch comedy series *Smack the Pony* and has appeared in numerous TV shows, including *Jam & Jerusalem*, *Miranda*, *I'm Alan Partridge*, *Parents*, and *Set the Thames on Fire*. Phillips also made guest appearances as the fictional Prime Minister of Finland, Minna Häkkinen, in the U.S. series *Veep* and portrayed Shazzer in all four films of the *Bridget Jones* franchise. Additionally, she co-starred as Mrs. Bennet in *Pride and Prejudice and Zombies* and played Colette in *Zapped*. Phillips is recognized for her versatile comedic performances and long-standing contributions to British television.
