Biography

Sammy Sheik is an Egyptian-American actor known for his role as Mustafa, a Taliban fighter, in Clint Eastwood's 2014 war drama film *American Sniper*. Based on the memoir of Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, the film follows his experiences during the Iraq War. Sheik's performance contributed to the film's portrayal of the conflict from multiple perspectives. *American Sniper* received critical acclaim and was a commercial success, winning several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Cinematography.
