Biography
Sana Amanat is an American comic book editor and executive known for her work at Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios. She served as the Director of Content and Character Development at Marvel Comics, where she contributed to titles such as Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man, and Ms. Marvel. Amanat is best known for co-creating Kamala Khan, also known as Ms. Marvel, who became the first Muslim-American superhero to star in a solo Marvel Comics series. Her work has played a significant role in expanding diversity and representation in the Marvel Universe. Amanat later transitioned to a role in production and development at Marvel Studios.
