Biography
Sandeep Pandey is an Indian social activist who currently serves as the General Secretary of the Socialist Party (India). He co-founded Asha for Education with Dr. Deepak Gupta and V.J.P. Srivastava while pursuing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Through Asha for Education, Pandey has worked to improve access to education and create opportunities in India. In addition to his work in social activism, he has served as a visiting professor at several institutions, including the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, NALSAR University of Law, and Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi.
