Biography
Shad Gregory Moss, known professionally as Bow Wow, is an American rapper and actor whose career began when he was discovered by rapper Snoop Dogg at the age of six in 1993. Five years later, he signed with Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, an imprint of Columbia Records. As Lil' Bow Wow, he released his debut studio album, *Beware of Dog*, in 2000 at the age of 13. The album reached number 8 on the Billboard 200. In 2001, he followed it with *Doggy Bag*, which peaked at number 11 on the same chart. Both albums were commercial successes and marked the beginning of his career in the music industry.
