Shadia, born Fatma Ahmad Kamal Shaker, was an Egyptian actress and singer who made significant contributions to Egyptian cinema and music during the 1950s and 1960s. She became well known for her roles in light comedies and dramas, establishing herself as a prominent figure during the golden age of Egyptian cinema.
