Shannon Leto

Shannon Leto is an American musician best known as the drummer of the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars. He co-founded the band in 1998 in Los Angeles with his younger brother Jared Leto. The group's debut album, *30 Seconds to Mars* (2002), received positive reviews but only moderate success. The band gained worldwide recognition with their second album, *A Beautiful Lie* (2005). Subsequent releases, including *This Is War* (2009) and *Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams* (2013), achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success. As of September 2014, Thirty Seconds to Mars had sold over 15 million albums worldwide.
