Biography

Sheryl Lee is a German-American actress known for her work in theater and television. After studying acting in college, she moved to Seattle, Washington, where she began her career in theater. She gained prominence for her roles as Laura Palmer and Maddy Ferguson in the 1990 television series *Twin Peaks* and its 1992 prequel film *Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me*, both directed by David Lynch. Following her work on *Twin Peaks*, Lee returned to the stage, notably performing in the title role of Oscar Wilde's *Salome* on Broadway opposite Al Pacino.
