Biography

Shōichi Hirose was a Japanese actor known for his roles in kaiju films, particularly for portraying King Ghidorah and King Kong in *King Kong vs. Godzilla*. He was also nicknamed "Solomon" for his survival in the naval Battle of the Eastern Solomons, a detail often cited in his biographies. Hirose frequently played "tough guy" characters throughout his career, becoming a familiar face in Japanese cinema.
