Biography

Shreeram Lagoo was an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi and Marathi films and theatre. Renowned for his character roles, he appeared in over 250 films and stage plays, including Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati productions. He directed more than 20 Marathi plays and was honored with the 1978 Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in *Gharaonda*. Lagoo also received two Filmfare Marathi Awards and a Maharashtra State Film Award. His autobiography, titled *Lamaan*, offers insights into his prolific career in Indian cinema and theatre.
