Blane Muise, known professionally as Shygirl, is a British singer, DJ, rapper, and co-founder of the record label and collective Nuxxe. Her music combines elements of dance, hip-hop, experimental pop, grime, and deconstructed club, and she is associated with the hyperpop scene. Shygirl rose to prominence through collaborations with artists including Sega Bodega, Arca, and Sophie. She also garnered attention from notable figures such as Rihanna, who incorporated Nuxxe tracks into her Fenty Beauty campaigns and fashion shows. Shygirl has released multiple singles since 2016, along with three EPs: *Cruel Practice*, *Alias*, and *Club Shy*. Her debut studio album, *Nymph*, was issued on 30 September 2022 and was met with widespread critical acclaim.
