Simon Anthony Fox Ward was a British stage and film actor born in Beckenham, England. He was best known for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in the 1972 film *Young Winston*. Throughout his career, Ward appeared in a variety of screen roles, including Sir Monty Everard in *Judge John Deed* and Bishop Gardiner in *The Tudors*.
