Sonia Friedman is a British theatre producer known for her work in the West End and on Broadway. She has been recognized as a Variety500 Honoree for seven consecutive years and was described as "the most powerful producer working in theater" by the New York Times in 2025. Friedman was listed among Vogue’s 25 most influential women in 2025 and named Producer of the Year at The Stage Awards in 2017 for the third consecutive year, a first in the award's history. In 2018, she appeared on Time Magazine's TIME100 list and was named Show Person of the Year by Broadway Briefing. In 2019, her company, Sonia Friedman Productions, was ranked the most influential theatre producer in The Stage 100.
