Biography
Sophia Takal is an American actress, writer, and director known for her work in independent cinema. She has appeared in and directed films including *All the Light in the Sky*, *Supporting Characters*, and *Gabi on the Roof in July*. In 2011, Takal was recognized by *Filmmaker* magazine as one of the "25 New Faces of Film." She directed and co-wrote the 2019 horror film *Black Christmas*, a remake of the 1974 original.
