Biography

Stefan Norris (1894–1979) was a Polish-born art director who designed the sets of over a hundred films. He was active in the film industry during the early to mid-20th century, shaping the visual aesthetics of many cinematic works. After the Invasion of Poland during World War II, Norris relocated and continued his career in Romania, where he remained based for the rest of his professional life. His work had a lasting impact on the art direction of films during his time.
