Stephanie Szostak

Stephanie Szostak, a French-American actress, grew up in France and moved to the United States to study business and play Division I golf at the College of William & Mary. After several years working at Chanel in New York, she transitioned into modeling before taking her first acting class at age 29 with Sondra Lee in New York City. This experience marked the first time she recognized a deep passion for something. Shortly afterward, she landed a role opposite Meryl Streep in *The Devil Wears Prada*. Among her most notable appearances are the ABC series *A Million Little Things*, *Iron Man 3*, and *Dinner for Schmucks*. As her career progressed, she also grappled with Impostor Syndrome, a challenge that led her to develop what she calls her Playbook. This approach became the foundation of her book *SELF!SH*, which guides readers in creating their own personal playbook for life. Half of all proceeds from the book go to Give an Hour, a mental health organization for which she serves as an ambassador. Stephanie also speaks on topics such as failure, authenticity, and what she refers to as the Actor's Way: a set of mindset tools that helped her navigate the uncertainties and rejections of her career and life, and which she believes can be applied by anyone in similar situations.
