Biography

Steve Rifkind is a prominent American music entrepreneur known for his influential role in the hip-hop industry. He is the founder and chairman of Loud Records and SRC Records, and has been instrumental in launching the careers of notable artists such as Wu Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Akon, David Banner, Asher Roth, Joell Ortiz, and Big Pun. Over his 25-year career, Rifkind has been recognized for his contributions to hip-hop, with XXL magazine crediting him for breaking some of the genre's most significant artists. In addition to his work with music artists, Rifkind has also developed marketing campaigns for major brands including T-Mobile, Adidas, Nike, Pepsi, and Levi Jeans.
