Biography
Terence Nance is an artist, musician, and filmmaker from Dallas, Texas, born in the State-Thomas community. He gained recognition for his directorial debut, *An Oversimplification of Her Beauty*, a semi-autobiographical film that blends narrative and experimental styles. Nance is also the creator of the avant-garde television series *Random Acts of Flyness*, which he developed for HBO through his production company, MVMT. The show explores themes of identity, race, and culture through a mix of surrealism, humor, and social commentary. *Random Acts of Flyness* is available to stream on HBO Max.
