Biography

Terri Raines Irwin is an American‑Australian conservationist, naturalist, zookeeper and television personality. She is best known as the widow of wildlife expert Steve Irwin. After his death in 2006, Terri became the sole owner and chairwoman of Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland, continuing the wildlife‑conservation and education work associated with Steve Irwin. Through her role at the zoo and public appearances, she remains actively involved in promoting environmental awareness and protecting native wildlife.
