Biography

Anthony Joseph Gilroy is an American screenwriter, director, and producer known for his work on the Bourne film franchise. He wrote the screenplays for the first three films in the series: *The Bourne Identity* (2002), *The Bourne Supremacy* (2004), and *The Bourne Ultimatum* (2007). He also wrote and directed the fourth installment, *The Bourne Legacy* (2012). In addition to the Bourne series, Gilroy is recognized for his work on *Michael Clayton* (2007) and *Duplicity* (2009).
