Biography

Tracee Ellis Ross is an American actress known for her work in television. She gained prominence for her lead role in the UPN series *Girlfriends*, which aired from 2000 to 2008. Ross later starred in the ABC comedy *Black-ish*, for which she received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Born as Tracee Joy Silberstein, she is the daughter of Motown legend Diana Ross.
