Biography

Brian Michael Firkus, known professionally as Trixie Mattel, is an American drag queen, television personality, singer-songwriter, DJ, and entrepreneur from Marinette County, Wisconsin. Known for her 1960s-inspired style, bold eye makeup, and comedic acoustic pop and folk-country music, she gained prominence through her participation in the seventh season of *RuPaul's Drag Race* in 2015. She later returned to win the third season of *RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars*. Mattel has continued to appear in various iterations of the *Drag Race* franchise and served as a judge on the spinoff series *Queen of the Universe* from 2021 to 2023.
