Biography
Vanessa Parise is a director, actor, and writer. She was recognized as one of "Ten Female Directors Breaking Stereotypes" by SheKnows. Growing up as one of five children in a large, extended Italian-Columbian-Jewish family, she drew inspiration from her upbringing for her film *Kiss the Bride* (2002). Parise holds dual citizenship in the United States and Canada.
